Our Journey Started Simple
We've been hosting weekly gatherings since 2019. What began as a small cribbage group has grown into Ireland's most active community for serious card and board game players in the 40-60 age bracket. We're not interested in casual play—we're focused on skill development, fair competition, and genuine connection.
The Cribbage Foundation
Our weekly cribbage sessions are the backbone of what we do. Players ranging from intermediate to advanced gather Tuesday and Thursday evenings. We've structured it so you're always matched with opponents at your level. It's competitive but welcoming—nobody's left standing on the sidelines wondering if they belong here.
Draughts Competitions That Matter
Every second Saturday, we run draughts tournaments with actual stakes. We're talking proper rules, timed rounds, and ranking systems. Participants take it seriously. You'll find yourself playing against opponents who've studied openings and endgames. That's what makes it rewarding.
Monopoly Marathons & Word Challenges
Our monthly Monopoly marathon nights aren't your casual family game night. We've got house rules refined over years, competitive players who know every card, and sessions that run 5-6 hours. Plus our word game challenge meetups—Scrabble, crosswords, verbal games—attract some seriously sharp minds. You'll walk away exhausted and energized.
